CURRICULUM VITAE

Steve Kelly

Dip. A.D. Honours, Sculpture

St Martin's School of Art, London 1971 - 74

Art Teachers Certificate

Goldsmiths College, London 1975 - 76

Steve has taught Sculpture at Art Schools in East Anglia since 1981. He is currently the Course Leader for Foundation Art & Design at Cambridge Regional College.
Steve has his studio on the North Norfolk coast. His work is influenced by the power of the sea to transform and disguise anything in its wake. By working with raw materials, wood, steel and concrete he captures this ability to disguise origins and invites the imagination to invent a history. In each sculpture there are tangible elements of a previous existence
Steve has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions throughout East Anglia and in London since 1976. He opened "Outhouse Gallery" at his home in Norfolk in July 2005. (See images on this website ) In 2007, Steve was elected a member of Norwich Twenty Group.
